Database Compact/Repair
To Repair/Compact the Database
using the ChiroPulse Database Tools
Microsoft Windows ODBC allows for database housekeeping by doing a database
"Compact" and "Repair". Compact/repair the database reorganizes the internal
data and allows for streamlined access; reducing the file size
as it will clean up temporary or "cache" files that the database uses
to speed up operations. No data is discarded. If an updated version of ChiroPulse requires a Database Conversion, the database
should be repaired & compacted immediately after the convert. It is recommended
to run these procedures weekly.
* Warning - make sure to backup the pulse.mdb database file
before proceeding*
