ChiroPulse Advanced Backup Info

Start ChiroPulse Advanced and log in. From the HELP menu select "Backup ChiroPulse..." and print page 1 of the instructions. This explains the ChiroPulse Advanced files/folder structure and is CRITICAL for you to understand.


Backup to USB Flash Drive or USB Removable Hard Drive

One popular backup method is the use of removable USB Flash or Drives. These are removable (to take home for safe keeping) as well as fast and inexpensive.

Compact Flash Drive - We recommend a 2GB or larger for extra backup space
Hard Disc Drive - 200GB or more if you're buying a USB hard drive

How to backup:

 

 

 


Microsoft XP Backup

XP Pro comes with MS Backup installed.

Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Backup

XP Home does NOT have MS Backup installed. It is necessary to do install this from disc or your computer

 

Install Backup on Windows XP Home


Click Backup Wizard Button


Click Backup Selected files, drives or data and press Next>

 

Expand the C: drive then double PULSE folder to select all the pulse files
then
press Next>

 

Use BROWSE to select your CD-RW, network drive or other backup location
type in the backup name such as pulsebak then
press Next>

 

Leave it as normal and press Next>

 

Select "Verify Data after backup then press Next>

 

Select Append and press Next>

 

Click Now then press Next>

 

Click Finish

 

The progress indicator will appear - let it run until completion
